INSTITUTE OF NUTRITION AND TECHNOLOGY OF FOODS

 It is addressed to biochemists, biologists, agronomic engineer, food engineers, medical doctors veterinary doctors, nutritionists, pharmaceutical chemists and professionals with equivalent training; the principal objectives of the Doctorate are:

- To train human resources par excellence with a high academic level in the areas of nutrition and foods, which will allow them to develop independent research and exercise leadership in these fields.

- To train human resources who have the capacity to put into practice the generated knowledge in these areas towards the resolution of the nutritional and food problems in Chile and in the Latin-American Region.

- To contribute to the strengthening of research in the University of Chile in the areas of Nutrition and Foods and to the integration of the various groups that work both in research as well as in teaching.
